eServices is the secure, reliable and convenient way to access a range of IP Australia's transactions and services including our Trade mark Headstart service.
You can use eServices to apply, register, renew and pay for IP rights. We will be continuing to add more features to eServices in the future, including electronic correspondence.

This outage is due to mandatory end of year financial systems roll-over.
IP Australia will enable the Alternate Lodgement Service (ALS) for eServices during this outage. The ALS is a simplified version of eServices that allows electronic submissions during outages and downtime. You will be automatically redirected to the ALS if you attempt to access eServices during the outage period. You will need to agree to new terms and conditions to use the ALS and you will not be required to sign in.

IP Australia offers a pre application service for Trade Mark applications?
TM Headstart (pre-application service)- IP Australia provides an early assessment of your trade mark to see if it will be suitable for registration. After submitting a request and paying the fee ($120 per class), we will contact you within five working days to provide the results of the assessment and outline options on how to overcome any issues preventing the registration of your trade mark.
Please note: this service requires a further payment of $80 per class if you decide to complete your request and formalise your trade mark application (part 2 fee). Amending your application to overcome potential issues may also attract additional fees.
